Having said that, the key to shopping and successfully saving money there is to "cherry pick" the best deals and stock up, then fill in with other items that you're needing at other stores that you shop. I liked the "chain reaction" effect of the savings with this transaction (buy the Crispix & Pop Tarts - get the milk free and bananas for $0.09), plus the Crispix qualify for the Kellogg's 10/$10 Rebate, which basically makes them free too! The Land O Lakes butter was a steal. And the Gold Bond deal was the result of finding a Giant Eagle (pharmacy?) booklet of store coupons that someone left in a different aisle. ;-)
